I looked outside this morning at 7:00am the mercury said 20 degrees. I waited until 10:00am it was 24 degrees. I checked again at noon it was 29. I loaded up the truck and headed out. All in all I found 14 pennies 3 dimes, 2 quarters, 4 rings and a little heart charm. The first 2 inches of sand was solid ice but uder that it was soft as suger

Ring 1 Pink ice heart inside the band JCM 10k CZ
Ring 2 Gold Band inside the band RMI 10k
Ring 3 Ruby /2 diamonds inside the band IGI 10k
Ring 4 Heavy band looks like silver plated lead Trashring
Charm Blue heart charm on the back .925 Looks like the word BOUMA written on the loop that the chain goes in

Thanks for any info you have about this stuff

Kermit

Great stuff :) Heres what the marking prolly mean:

.925 = sterling silver.
the jcm 10k cz prolly means made by jcm its 10k gold and has cubic zerconia stones.
the other two are most likely 10k gold and makers marks.

You a hard core!! ;) Great finds.

If the wind is calm and the sun is out, finding a sunny slope to detect is perfect. Any amount of wind is apt to spoil your day! Persistence pays off! Excellent finds! Monty

Kermit - Great finds. You mentioned sand. I assume your are looking around Lake Cumberland or Dale Hollow.

AK in KY

Nice finds. I went to a few sites yesterday that will be prime spots when the snow melts history goes back to the early 1900's. Hit the park found some clad but must have dug a gazillion bottle caps and tabs. Again nice finds.
