Very cool papa bear, I have half of a powder flask as well, Only figured it out a month or so ago! ..........................HH
 

Papa.....this is almost creepy........one of my hunting buddies just dug that same flask Friday!!!!Oddly found two flasks in the same hole,but wow,that flask is one ya dont see dug a whole lot.I will get some pics of his this week....I forgot my camera the other day.Great find bud!!!

Odd that as one season closes another opens. Around here the ground is so hard I don't dig much in summer but with recent rains its time to go look.

Pretty cool flask Papa! These show up from time to time here, but i never seen one dug in germany....

Yours is, of course, listed in "THE POWDER FLASK BOOK" by Ray Riling under the section DOG AND HUNTER. It is #884, sorry the scan didn't turn out to well.
