Hi all.I have been on this site for awhile and posted many topics over time.I have checked out metal detecting clubs in and around delaware itself.I have come up somewhat empty.Theres a club in pa that comes to delaware but rarely detects in delaware-just the beaches. They havent been very helpful as far as reaching out to me since im disabilied and hard to get around.all i get is a e-mail once in awhile on when the meeting is(the same place all the time which the place has terrible food)and events that are not even close to me.
Eact coast Metal Detecting club is more promising but its very hard to contact them in milford-their main site doesnt list an address or a phone number which was listed sometime ago. However, they seem to go into MD alot which is a hike for me.

So to my point(i like to give some storyline just to show that i've been trying..lol).I would like to get help by ones on this forum that metal detect in my area(new castle, newark area) or around that area itself. It can be dover, milford, wilmington,or just surrounding areas.Maybe help by either direction on where to go to dig, places to stay away from, people that i can help out in their searches,or general help in their research about that targeted sites.Once i get to know you or(others)that help out and some time goes by,We can then metal detect on my mom's 23 arce farm that never been metal detected before that buds up near a historic state forestry. My mom already asked the forestry on how to proceed about metal detecting near their property and since my mom is close neighbors, she can metal detect disscretly near the state forestry which is very close to a site from the 1700s encampment(no not G.Washington,I've already asked..lol)

But im far from that point,i must get seasoned first and my hands "dirty" as it were..lol.My restrictions and disabilies are holding me back but i need the exersice to get the weigh off and get the blood in my legs circumating once again. Please i need serious inqurnies and only ones that have patience and time on their hands to help out.Any and all help will be most grateful and i would be forever in your dealt.I check this forum on a regular basis and will be looking out for responses on this topic.

Until then, happy holidays to one and all-remember keep on finding that treasure,no matter if its the shiny kind or the rusty kind-its all good..

metal detecti buddy

hello my name is David I love metal detecting I'll go but indeed to get another detected I've been to parks schools and coochs bridge places I want to go is coin beach in Indian river and a beach in ocean city that supposed to be producing old clad gold

hey david.Saw that you replied to my post.We need to get together and discuss plans on how to metal detect in this area of delaware. You said that you metal detected around coochs bridge? I'm right down the road from that bridge-i like to know how you metal detected there? did you detect legally or illegally?if u dont want say,its ok.That whole area is so heavier trafficed by cars and such that it be hard to not get noticed. Its also a state-enforced area but i have some old maps that if i could metal detect there,i would find something :)I know its hard to detect in the new castle/newark area,i've tried some places but found very little. Most of the metal detector clubs in delaware are either down in milford or lower;and higher in easton or lancaster. The one down in milford doesnt go up too new castle/newark just to the beaches and the one in easton only goes to the beaches a couple times a year but isnt very friendly. So for us lonely individual metal detectists in this area, its hard to find ones to help each other out of try to find a club or form a club-i would love to form a group but there hasnt been much interest or individuals posting that they are from our area
let me know if u get this post,i'll check up on this post from time-to-time now since someone posted something here..lol lol:hello2:
