From Old 1890's School Site.
Found these town small cast pieces at a late 1800's school site. Sorry I didn't put anything in for size but they measure an 1"h x 1-1/2"w x1/8" thick not including what appears to be the hinge part at the top. They look like little lids for something that would have hinged/flipped open. Not pictured is the backs which have remnants of some sort of shinny plating that is almost gone on one and about 50% on the other. Second photo is obviously a very small pad lock, just threw this in to see if anyone's ever found something similar or could date this.
