From Indian Artifacts To Metal Detecting.

I just got out of the army and Im moving to Tennessee outside of Nashville. Im originaly from Texas where I collected and studied Native American Artifacts. I am A history major speacializing in military history and have had artifacts published. I just invested in a metal detector and Im looking for some good pointers from some hardcore metal detecting veterans to help get me started. Thanks alot for your help and good luck.
