I live in Citrus county and have read this forum for quite some time so I figured it was about time to sign up. I started with a coin master about 1990 and currently have a garret 350 and use a Mel fisher pulse 8x at work as well as a marine sonic side scan. I have been in marine law enforcement for over 20 years and have been have been fortunate enough to have a job that includes hunting with a detector. I only wish I had taken notes from some of the groups of treasure hunters I met in the early 90s before the state and feds bought up most the islands. this forum is awesome and there is a lot of knowledge here and resources on laws and maps. Most of the history here is getting paved over or trapped behind exotic plants and made off limits by people that justify rules based on emotional knee jerk. I have read many post here that made me relies that this has happened about every where in the country. some awesome finds here, and to my friends who fish in the middle grounds, no the drones are not filming you keeping gags...yet.lol

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Florida for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome! And, thanks for your services and keeping our waterways patrolled!
I used to love watching E-Force with the Keys guys and gals! We been pulled over by Ms. Liz (lobster season, everyone gets checked, just about), and spoke many times with Mr. Sanchez, while down in the keys. Some of the stories they tell....... hahahaha (we get some real winners down in the Keys, between the tourist that's never driven a boat stuck on a sand bar, to the illegal fishermen, keeping 2 inch fish)
Glad you're on board with us here!

thanks guys, havent worked in the keys in a long time, im in the land of scallops and sea cows now. the tourist are the same though, it is always funny watching the different game warden and gater shows, when you know the guys.
