SISKIYOU GOLD
A few years ago crooks broke into the gold display at the Siskiyou County Court House and stole a majority of the gold under the cover of darkness and suspicious circumstance. Apparently nobody [county or otherwise] but me had photos of the display that I had taken sometime earlier. A county supervisor at the time contacted and asked me if they could use my photos for insurance purposes which I provided. I was later told by that supervisor that my photos were instrumental in Siskiyou County getting several thousand dollars more from insurance than they would not have received otherwise.
