from BH to ace 250 or not

I've been using a BH lonestar md and with all that is said on this site about the ace 250, I wounder if I should buy one. would I be getting a md with all the bells and whistles or would it find more targets? I started mding in april and to date I've found 62.00. 14 wheaties, 1 merc, 1-1948 N, 4 925 silver rings, 1 watch fob and 10 cars and junk. I don't know if I would do better with the ace or not. do I spend the money on a new ace 250 or a new lawnmower? the ace would be nice but do I really need it based on its performance? thanks for any info.

Hey Skydiv, I went through the same dillemma a few months back. I had a RS Discovery 2000( same as BH lonestar) and questioned its ability. Yes it found found many coins and such, but I thought there should be more. I purchased my ACE250 in May and cannot believe the difference!!!! My coin count has gone way up. The ACE is hot on coins and has decent depth. I have gone over my yard many times with the old RS and have since recovered about 20 coins it missed!!! I am glad I made the decision to buy an ACE and will probably but a Garrett in the future.
