Good morning to all! Any idea about these items? Came from a USA bivouac in Salerno 1943 area.

The round item "pic 2" is called a bung. Used as a plug for the opening in a barrel or can.

Pic 3 is the female part of what I call a pin snap? a fastener for ammo pouch, pack, canteen cover, etc.

The thing with the little gears on it is a wick adjuster from a kerosene lantern or lamp although the shaft is bent.
That's it! I knew I had seen that before!!

I gotta see my eye doctor,while reading the script on the bung I would have sworn it said,use a honky wrench!!:laughing7: Nice bunch of finds,congrats.
