frisbee golf taking over parks

so here in so ca, frisbee golf is taking over parks, and there a allot of rude people playing, they throw right by you or yell hey get out of the way. theres people with kids or walking there dogs,and we seen to be in there way, sucks.

I started playing disc golf in 73, got very good with frisbees starting around 1971.

I know what you mean I work at a town park we have a disc golf course, those guys are usually drinking and are super loud out there. Some people walk their dogs through there. It is what it is

I guess yelling "Pull!" as they throw and then blasting the disc with a shotgun would be frowned upon....

I’m ‘in their way‘ from time to time when I’m hunting the parks, they wave at me to get out of the way; I wave back. If things escalate, I shrug shoulders mouthing “what?” while pointing at my headphones.

I guess I don't get all the animosity.

There's a disc golf course/park near me, but it's one of about a dozen town parks. There's also a "sprayground" (kiddie water park), a dedicated nature trail, and a few others. The "dedicated" parks all have posted hours for their activities, so (if it were me) I might try during off hours, or another park.
