-I’m not afraid of the snakes I see- it’s the ones I don’t see!!

The phobia is real ????

Got bit by a copperhead at age 12..... You think I have a phobia about it? You bet your skivvies I have a wee bit of a phobia about that!

I hate snakes tell ya not to many deadly ones here in Mi Pheasants Are freakin the worst I was detecting in a field and this huge explosion right next to me holy smokes wings were flying everywhere my poop was flying I almost had a heart attack. Be careful of tics too I gotta wonder can a mosquito carry the carona virus?

Thanks, I don't like snakes. I leave them alone most of the time. Fortunately, we got some fresh snow here this morning so I'm not so worried....yet......lol!

Time to look before you step because spring has sprung. I have a small farm in Eastern NC so this is a common occurrence around home. We have lots of copperheads.

Thanks for the heads up Jeff. Ive seen a few brown snakes earlier today in Boerne.

Michigan has the Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake. A friend got bit when he reached into a wood pile without looking. They are an threatened species under the federal Endangered Species Act. If not cornered they will go the other way.

Why did it have to be snakes? I hate snakes <said in my best Indiana Jones voice>

Luckily we don't really have snakes that can attack you.
There are only stupid amounts of massive bugs that constantly fly into your face.

And maybe sometimes a wild boar

It is my understanding that snakes are territorial, in other words - my farm is its' farm too - killed a very large copperhead here when I first came home. Haven't seen one since, fortunately. I don't kill critters normally. However, I must protect my territory too.......

There are some big black snakes that nest in trees in the woods I hunt. I don’t think they are dangerous, but just freaky to be sweeping the forest floor around a big old tree and look up and 2 intertwined 5’ snakes are just above your head.
