Okay, this isn't dramatic, but it brightened my day (yesterday, just didn't get a chance to post). I was transacting some business in my kids' accounts and noticed an obvious (well, to me) war nickel on the end of the teller's coin tray. I asked her, "Can you give me that nickel with my change?" She happily obliged. Usually, war nickels I find around here are P; I was pleasantly surprised to discover this 45S.

The detector finds plenty of war nickels! Not many S, though.
