Looks like the stem of an old clay pipe from the 1800's. i have found some of these.

it doesn't feel like bone, it almost feels like plastic but they found it like 3ft in the ground where they were diggin up with a bobcat to put in this firepit

That hairline crack in the tip, kind of make me think its bone. It is interest.

heat a needle well and if it melts in(and smells like plastic)its plastic.If the needle does not melt in its not plastic.a definitive test

Does the hole go all the way through? If not, how deep?
