Well, I got out to detect a bit after work yesterday. I hit the woods and the yard of the 190 acre property I've been detecting for about three years now. I had a rough time in the woods though. First I lost my Vibra Probe and had to back track to find it.
Fortunately I got it back. Later I slipped on a wet tree root and went down quick, but not before doing the splits that a cheerleader would be envious of. Age must be setting in.
Any idea if this is a Colonial shoe buckle UPDATE: It's a SASH buckle per a members ID below.
Finds were:
*Tombac button (woods find)
*1935 Japanese coin (woods find)
*Sash shoe buckle (woods find)
*Dog tag (woods find)
*Asst'd iron including a bent spike (woods)
*Vintage TootsieToy truck (yard)
Thanks for looking,
MM
