Friday I drove over 40 miles to look some land on the Flint River. The person who set it up for me is a former student who knows nothing about hunting Indian artifacts. When I got there and was introduced to the person who manages the land, he told me none of it was turned. He spent about 1 1/2 hours showing me around and telling me about the site. It was the site where the government set up a place to teach the Indians how to churn butter, milk cows, etc. He told me that when he turned the food plots, he would let me know so that after a rain I could come back and look.
I then drove back to my county and looked one of my favorite fields. All of these came from there.
These were my favorites.
I can't believe this came out of a plowed field and has no damage.
Both of these are real heartbreakers.
