Scored on all 3 days of my extended weekend. Friday, hit my local gold buyer who saves coins for me. Saturday, hit a local townwide yard sale. Sadly, no antiques but made up for it with gold. Sunday, sold at a flea market an hour away. Made a TON of cash, got rid of a TON of crap, and even scored some cheap silver coins.
Here is my take:

-1891 Seated Quarter (EF) - $20
-1876 Dime "Love Token" - $5
-10k thin floating pearl necklace - $3 (already sold)
-Sterling mother of pearl ring - 50 cents (given to wife)
-Denon AVR-1508 Home Theater System Receiver - $3
-1944 Netherlands 10 cents (silver) - 50 cents
-1931 Sixpence (silver) - 50 cents
-1924 Mercury Dime - $1

Nice weekend. I like the "local townwide yard" sales. My town actual does there's all in one common location, which saves me lots of driving and map reading. :)

Nice weekend. I like the "local townwide yard" sales. My town actual does there's all in one common location, which saves me lots of driving and map reading. :)

Already hit 2 of them this season. I find that I do 90% of my buying the first hour (7-8 am) and then it is totally hit or miss beyond that. At the first townwide, I found a lot of antiques and no jewelry. This past townwide, I found no antiques and some jewelry.

I love finding bags of foreign coins to go through. You can usually always find a piece of silver or two, if you know what to look for. Good scores Ben.

There was another booth that had misc foreign coins for $1 each. I found 1 "silver center" Mexico coin. I couldn't remember which years to look for and how much silver was actually in them so I passed on that one. I have scored there on coins in the past too. I guess no one regularly cherry-picks coins at this particular flea market - it was almost too easy.

Edit: Looked it up and after 1996 the "silver center" coins no longer contained any silver and the word "nuevos" was removed. Pretty sure the coin I passed up yesterday was the non-silver variety, thankfully.
*So for future reference, if they have a silver center AND have the word nuevos, then it is silver.
