Had a better than average hunt, the pull-tabs were all over. Bet i dug like 40+ while there. Got one old coin. I knew it was old from its green and crusty looks. Thought it was some old nickel at first but after a soak. It became evident this was an Indian head cent. After some olive oil soak and slight rub the date became visible 1871. Also got a few rings, this added to the fun factor. Found the moons and stars ring first. It has some glitter in the background of the enamel which probably doesn't show in the photo. Then wandered around but came back to the same area later on. Not 10 feet from where the first ring turned up and found the silver horseshoe /turquoise ring. We plan on hitting this hunt site again soon after another rain hits !
