I stopped in my local Frenchys (a thrift store in the maritimes in Canada) since they occasionally have gold and silver, and I found out they were just putting out the new jewelry so I waited around. They usually price gold pieces at $20 each and silver pieces at $10 each so I was hoping I would get lucky. And boy did I get lucky. The other gold buyer was in just a few hours before and was going to stop back in to see the jewelry when it was put out but I was there and bought it all. A heavy silver garnet bracelet for $10 that I love. A 22k-24k necklace and pendant with a jade heart for $20, which had a 14k clasp so she thought it was 14k. A 18k gold necklace and earrings for $20 (the smaller daisy set) and a 18k gold larger daisy pendant for $20. A 18k gold necklace with blue and white stones for $20. And a 10k Gold ring for $10. And a set of bracelets that are 14 1/20 gold filled and 925 for $3. I spent $120 on that stuff and a few other items. But the jade and 22-24k necklace weighs 24grams alone and the necklace without the jade pendant weights 14 grams alone! I was so excited this was my first time finding 22-24k gold and my biggest score since last summer.
