Chilly 28 degree start this morning, but I was anxious to get out and try my new Nokta Makro Simplex.
Decided to hit some of the old spots that we detected many times before - the Simplex did not disappoint!

1918 Mercury dime
1924 Buffalo Nickel

Good start with the new detector.....

I have all the respect for you guys who can metal detect in such cold weather. Where as I can detect for 4 hours in 98° weather with 95% humidity and soaking wet, but if it’s below 50° I’m out. Congratulations on being persistent [emoji1360]

nice 3 bagger, thanks for posting. Love my simplex too

Very nice! What detector did you use before the Simplex? A month ago I upgraded to one from my ACE 300... you are right, the Simplex definitely does not disappoint.

Noah, I use White's XLT and a Garrett GTP1350 - both great machines, and I will probably never part with them. I really like the new technology and features of the Simplex+.

Nice. I just realized you have those both listed in your signature lol... I have good eyesight but that doesn't mean I'm good at using it. :laughing7:
