I found these buttons and pins in my grandparents house I think they might be war related or related to the freemasons or shriners you be the judge. You'll have to excuse the quality of these pics as they were taken from a webcam

This pin is shaped like a building well actually it is a building, I think it might be freemason/Shriners related as I found one similier to this one on a Freemason/Shriners medals page

If you can't read the writing on this pin it says CRUSADER NO 21 is this also Freemason/Shriners?

This button has a man with a gun on it. At first I thought it was war related but then I remembered my grandfather didn't do any fighting in the war I don't know what my uncle did in viatnam. The man on the button reminds me of Daniel Boone or Davey Crockett so it might not be war related I thought it might be a boy scout badge

This pin may be related to the first pic if you notice the top left corner it has a building on it like the one in the first pic

231449.jpg

I'm sure this is a button from an army uniform the design on the front gives that away

231643.jpg

If you can't see this one it has an eagle on it and underneath it is the stripes from the flag It's not a pin or anything because the back of it doesn't come off. It's like it's made onto it

I hope I posted these pics right this is my first time trying to post pics If I didn't could someone tell me what I did wrong?

First one as already stated is a Corps of Engineers military pin. The fourth one is a DUI. Distinguished Unit Insignia which is military. The last one is a discharge pin which is worn on civilian clothing to show you were discharged under honorable conditions.

the one with wings is most likely air related (wings army air force? ) --the castle building item is "enginner" type symbol -- so --some type of army air force "enginners" badge --- the "air force" was part of the army in WW2

You are on the right track to identify the "Crusader N0. 21" badge with the Freemasons. It actually indicates membership in the Knights Templar, whose members must first be Masons. The "Crusader No. 21" indicates which Commandery (local unit) your granddad belonged to.

#4 is an automobile emblem. I wish we had better pics. too blurry. Do you have a Macro lens (flower icon) on your camera?

Yeah, sorry about the pics I don't have a camera so I just took them with my webcam. Also this pin

I think it has something to do with the Corps Of Engineers because it has the castle in the top right corner above that is a number 1265 it an't be from the air force and I don't tink it's automobile related

I think its an automobile emblem. A very collectible item. I could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me.

ADDED: I just realized the size. I think I see fingers behind it. It may be too small for an emblem so Im changing my mind. As someone said it could be WWII DUI. But old automoblie emblems used knights, castles, shields, wings and stars. Even though I can barely focus, your pin has all the signs. (Is the castle top right or top left?)
