Went to the recycling center again today. Got a Klipsch Promedia ultra 5.1. Looks like a sub woofer, no way of testing it maybe good for as is parts. Its nice and clean. Also got this high end tape deck. Eumig FL-100up, Pretty rare deck- super high end. It gets power and light up but tape deck does not work. I hope I can sell it as is not working also. Then I grabbed this radio only because it was yellow. Sharp QT-50. I haven't found a yellow one online yet mostly the pink ones and they are going for a good amount. I hope the yellow is a less common color.

Man, you are cleaning up at this place! Put it on your regular route, for sure!

It makes me a bit sad thinking of all of the good stuff that has been thrown away there if there was this many gems in just two visits.

It will be on my regular route now. I brought in another junk electric item today and talked to the guy working there. Its great, he has no problem with me taking stuff. I took my time today. There are a lot of wealthy people in town, just hoping I come across any Marantz, HK or even better yet a pioneer 909.

Nice! Thanks for sharing...

Nice finds, I think you should slip that dude running the place a twenty spot, or a thirty pack or something to show him you appreciate it! Goodluck!.............Scott.

Either the subwoofer has a blown amp or blown woofer but you can count on not both are blown. Could also just be the fuse if it doesn't power on & since there does not appear to be an external fuse a fuse would most likely be on the inside back of the amplifier panel. Just take the amp out of the box & see if there is a blown fuse anywhere on the amp plate.

I just looked on ebay for that Eumig tape deck. Back in early December a non-working unit (exact same model as yours) sold for $180! It might be worth your while to get it checked out by someone who repairs electronics. Several years ago, my receiver/amp developed a popping noise. I took it to a guy who repairs stereos, TVs, etc. For $35 he checked it out and found that the problem was one tiny capacitor had gone bad. He replaced it and the unit has been fine ever since. Total bill was about $50. I'm thinking if non-working versions of your unit sell for over $150 imagine what a working one would sell for!

the tape deck might just need a new belt. Should be a fairly easy fix if you want to try it yourself. you can find belts at several web sites & ebay
