Here's another that I've used for years... it's an add-on for XP and installs into the right-click context menu for pictures. By right-clicking on the picture and choose "resize pictures", it brings up the size editing box for pre-settings and custom settings. Clicking Advanced will give you even more handy features.
It doesn't do the exact size I need to resize my pictures to (1280x800 - widescreen) for my laptop, but it works for everything else and gets them pretty close to that.
Just as Jeff G pointed out, "I have no interest in the company" (lol! ), but it does help out quite a bit.
