Would be if you had this token I found last weekend......although the couple bucks of clad could help out too.....and the 80's-esque ugly earring

Cool lunch token tho - numbered and I like the star at the bottom.

cool token---guess now they just swipe a card at the cafetorium :laughing7::laughing7: clad pays the gas to get to the good stuff:icon_thumright:

Nice token! Cool piece of history.

I just checked with the fellow who is writing a new catalog of CT tokens and he has this listed as Enfield, CT. I suppose the serial number was used to combat theft, but that doesn't sound like a very easy system to implement. If it were mine, I would put it between two pieces of wood and smack the sandwich with a hammer to straighten it. Do consider posting good close-up photos of both sides to tokencatalog.

I am sure that you wish that it was a silver dollar, nice token. Good hunting and good luck.

Nice token. I put mine between a piece of towel or rag, and put them into the vice and turn handle slowly. This will flatten that token out nicely. Its not bent so bad that it would snap.
