Nice older coins in pretty good shape. What part of Russia were you hunting? Or is that a bad thing to tell?

Perm, Russian Federation. Next to the Volga River, and just of the Ural Mountains, noted for their production of platinum. Yes?

In our region there are all gold, platinum, diamonds ..... but it's only the state.

Have you considered panning for diamonds? Are you downstream or upstream from where the diamonds have been found? But I understand Russia had vast reserves of diamonds already mined that were intentionally being kept from the international market to keep diamond prices stable internationally.

I found a small platinum nugget once while gold dredging/sniping in Southern Oregon. Only a few grams, but reallly neat to find.
