I found most of these relics in Missouri in the late 70's.

They all came from the same field and I picked most of these up in just a few years.

The numbers indicate a location in the field. There were a number of rises and cliffs overlooking the river.

A few interesting things are evident here.

One material from far away where utilized. Harrison County flint (indiana hornstone, Wyandotte chert) painted a nice chocolate brown, 2nd row,4th from the left, Harrodsburg chert, 3rd row, 2nd from left,
some heat treated burlington, and crescent quary.

The second row and a few others have had the base knapped similar to Decatur points.

Note the bottom row, first three on the left. These are not broken, but knapped purposely. There are straight edges, notches and semi circle designs.

Those are so cool wow Great display you made also!!!!Tommy

That frame has sat alongside my desk upright for well over 25 years.

I look at when I am working and have called the 3rd from the left, bottom the Illinois point. It looks upside down now but it you flip it around it looks like Illinois, maybe if you squint and tilt your head.

I think the straight edge and angled edge of this relic is amazing. bottom row, leftmost. with another crazy 90 degree angle spoke shave.
