Went back to the old small resort today thinking I found the walker and merc last week but no silver quarters. After close to an hour of clad, pennies, and trash I got a nice solid signal, pulled a super wet plug, and there lay four silver quarters stacked neatly on top of one another. This place was hunted forty years ago, but they didn't get it all. Of course there is also a lot of junk that wasn't there back then. Anyways, I walked away happy again. Still haven't found a rosie, maybe next time!! The soil as you can see is harsh on copper and clad, and even some tarnish on the outer quarters.

Wow! I would be so happy with a SLQ that I wouldn't even want to talk about a Rosie! Congratz!

I've only found multiple silver cons in the same hole I think 3 times, but earlier this year I found a no-date SLQ with a 1944 Mercury dime in the same hole along with 3-4 wheats. What is crazy is this was on a 1960s house.

The SLQ you dug looks like it could be a type 1, or at least I can't see stars under the eagle.

Congrats on all that silver in one hole nice job

If you blow up the reverse of the SLQ, you will see 3 worn stars beneath the eagle. That makes it a Variety 2
Well done on the silver spill.
Congrats

Nice, nice and nice! Very well played sir.

I was lucky enough to find 4 silver dimes in one hole, in January. That was the best I have ever done. You sir, did exactly 2.5 times better!

Congrats.

Congrats on digging that silver spill. :occasion14: Four silvers normally takes me 2 to 3 weeks to dig.

You don't see to many silver quarter coin spills. Good job

Seeing a well worn SLQ found in a hole with a '46, '48, and '56 quarter gives us an idea about how long SLQ's continued to circulate. Well into the 1950's it seems!

Congrats. Multiple silvers increase excitement exponentially.

Certainly didn't think your title was going to lead to silver quarters!! Awesome find- Congrats!!

Nice silver GW spill

All right man that's a sweet buck! Congrats on the silver

I wouldn't know what to do with four silver quarters in the hole!!! Probably have another beer and call it a day!!!!:laughing7:

Congrats on the silver dollar.

Still looking for a Standing Liberty.

Wow! I've always wanted to dig a pocket spill of silver coins. Big Congrats!

Thanks Tom and all others. Actually my favorite multi coin find was 45 years ago when I found three large cents and a well worn Connecticut Auctori neatly stacked together in one hole just like the quarters yesterday were. I have found quite a few multi silver coins together but most were 45 years ago when all old schools and churches here were virgin and I had the first detector around. I believe this was the first for four silver quarters though, and it was a good rush!!

Congratualtions on the large coin silver spill! :occasion14:
