I took the six inch coil out for 4 hours tonight. I hunted a local park and scored a Merc and a wheat. Then I headed over to a permission and pulled another Merc and six more wheat. Pretty sure all of this is stuff I missed with the stock coil.

Just curious, are the coils interchangeable between the Nox 600 and 800? I have a 600 on the way

I decided to get the 6" for my Nox also, be here Monday. I have a 5" for my Etrac and it works great for what it's intended, target separation. Those tiny coils "force" us to really slow down on the sweep and pay better attention of where our coil is covering. I've noticed with the Nox on a faster recovery speed and swinging very slowly, I can still hear a good target right next to, or through a junk target many times. With the Etrac 5" coil, I've found silver and Indians 8-9 inches in very trashy areas others have missed or not detected because of the constant head noise. We'll see? IMO, that very fast recovery speed on the Nox is a game changer.

Way to go Squirrel! Looks like a fun outing to me. Your post titles are always so unassuming that I almost don’t click on them but then I think, “it’s squirrel, I bet there’s something worth seeing.” Nicely done!

Hi, nice finds. Congrats:icon_thumright:

I own the 6 inch coil for my Equinox 600 and have owned the sniper coil when I used to own an AT Pro. Those little coils have a way of finding the leftovers! Keep swinging that little coil, especially in the trashy parks!
