Anyone in the U.S. found more than four centuries of coins at one site? At my best site, the swim hole, I found 1700s (1 colonial copper), 1800s (1 1899 Barber Half), 1900s (many from throughout the century) and 2000s. I'd guess someone has found all these centuries + a 1600s coin at a site. Bueller, anyone?

No Morgans or Piece Dollars there, So Not "Every Type" :D

4 1700s Colonial coppers
2 1800s Indian Heads
4 1900s silver coins
A few 2000s coins

All of these were found at "Meaty Paws" House.

I have several with 4 centuries starting in the 1700's's, but I am certain these two sites have produced 5 centuries, since I know I have gotten some 2000 era coinage dropped by hunters. But I do not document any coin from 1965 and later, unless I get lucky and get a gold one. :).

OK, this Site #144 on my list is a nice sized field that was the homestead of either the owner or a worker/s of a 18th Century millsite, located next to an old dam, now breached.

Wow, good info. Getting five centuries at one site is like "hitting for the cycle" in baseball for detecting. Four would be "equal" to the cycle, as all four types of hits, but for the detecting cycle you have to figure the realistic "most" you can find in the U.S. is five centuries at one site. Imagine if you found every century but 2000s and you had to get a bunch of people to go there until someone dropped a coin. Maybe it's cheating, but you'd have to invite a bunch of people to have a picnic there. :-)

2002 10 euro cent
1900's pfennigs
1800's kreuzers
1700's hellers and kreutzers
and 1 roman coin from ????
::) ;D
