Hopefully my pic came as well, but today while detecting a remote complex of gold mines, I kept coming up on this material. It was part of the bedrock, set off the minelab eureka gold. Light weight breaks up easily, white/creamy in color, kinda crumbles like chaulk, especially when wetted. No Idea why my machine was picking it up. But there was lots of it. Local shafts went straight down, no way to get down to determine extent, but what ever it was they followed it straight down. Seems odd to me. How would you get all the materials up and out, let alone getting your self in and out. These were small workings so I doubt they had any overhead structure to pull out debris. The brush was so thick you could be 10 feet from the mine and never see it. I have some wounds tonight from blazing through the brush. It was so thick, I litterally could not fall over. Nor could I move forward or back without making a trail by breaking sticks.
