Your piece looks like one of the 1967 Canadian Centennial lapel pins that we were given as kids in school to mark Canada's 100th Anniversary.
These were often gold plated or sometimes had an enameled surface, I might even still have mine somewhere. :laughing7:

I found one and always wondered what that tiny thing was. I probably posted it here but would never find the old post. I believe mine had writing on the back.

I never knew anything about the Canadian Centennial before that was celebrated in 1967.

There were 3 jamborees in Idaho, 2 national and one world all held at Farragut National Park.
