Found what looks like a part of a civil war lead casting bar?

I think it might be from a lead bar that plumbers would have used. Where was it found? Was it on a battle site? Known campsite of Soldiers?

I noticed it does not have the patina that civil war era lead would have when dug. looks much newer to me.

This was found on a creek with a known civil war encampment. I've found bullets near where I dug this as well as a spur, though the spur looked post civil war.
