Anytime I can find more quarters(25 today), than dimes(17) or even pennies(10), I call that a very good day. Found in a "not so old" school yard that I have been to many times, with other detectors, but the MX5 loves deep quarters and dimes. The big IKE dollar was about 4 inches and read VDI of 92.....thought it was can slaw....glad I dug it. MX5 reads VDI of 83 on quarters and very accurate at deeper depths......the Presidential Dollar also reads VDI of 83....which I find strange....but I guess it means I am not going to miss any of them.....it also was about 4 inches.....now to get to some older sites, to find some silver.
