Found these little gems on the Treasure Coast of Florida after some recent NE swells hit. They were only 10' apart in about 10" of wet sand during my first 20 minutes on the beach. The only other shipwreck item dug that day was this chunk of lead sheeting also shown.
I've been told by an expert that the Reales were minted in Mexico between 1700-1715 under the rule of King Philip V. The lead sheeting was used on the hulls of the ships in those days for repairs and to slow the affects of wood-worms and barnacles.

Jerry

Awesome finds , good day when you get one , two are , you know ...... :skullflag:

I recently got a chance to hang out with BlackBart for a hunt in the keys. I have a lot of respect for you shoreline hunters and the difficulty in recovering Spanish fleet treasure. Killer finds man, very nice!

This gives me hope for the treasure coast beach hunting!! Thank you and awesome find !!
