Greetings From N.C.!

It's been awhile since I've posted a find. It's also been awhile since I've been hunting too. But I have been walking my dog alot, and I always keep my eyes on the ground to see what I can find.... and today it may have payed off! While walking on a gravel road, I saw a little rocky path go into the woods. I decided to walk down it to see if there was any old bottles around (it was in the vacinity of the bottle dump). 5 minutes later, I notice this green piece of cloth with writing on it. Curosity got the best of me and I went over and picked it up. Turns out to be a pair of old green coveralls with "P.N.S.Y 072-E" stenciled on the back in yellow letters. The sleeves are missing and there is some kind of tag inside (can't read it) There are also several straps and loops on it. :icon_scratch: :dontknow: If anyone knows what "P.N.S.Y" stands for please let me know. Thanks for looking! :help:

Blessings,
ncilverspider

Nope, Im sure if you read one of the links...or Google it, u might get a lil better idea.

i think E stands for engineering

The 072-E stands for the repair shop..im just not sure which one though..I almost want to say its the rigging shop though.I worked in a couple of different repair divisions while in the navy.38-A is the outside machine shop,31-e is the diesel engine overhaul shop,31-f is the Hydraulics shop, and 31-d is the valve shop

As for value, I would think not much. I have several pairs, as the Army is issued the same style. Summer weight mechanics coveralls. They were just replaced within the last 10 years.
