Found To-Mater

Went to galena ks today,saw there were some vehicles at the four sisters on the route station.
By the way a little history here.asked them if they knew any property that i could metal detect.
they let me look on a small lot across the street,but i only found a clad dime and a clad penny.
it had been filled in here i was diggin pop cans at about 9 inches or so.
the people were very nice and proceeded to tell me the truck outside was the truck the made the to-mater truck from for the kids movie cars.i already knew this and had taken pictures of it before,sorry there not very good,they were taken by cell phone.
anyway,this is on route 66 that runs through here.

Back in the 70's my buddy and I hunted the parking meters in Galena and found coins by the hundreds....lots of silver and wheat. The coins had settled on top of the concrete that the poles were set in....We just turned off our detectors and started scooping out coins by the handful....Steve
