Found this toady in this 1880'3 mining camp. Seems to small and light weight to be of much use. Any ideas? IMG_0831.JPG

Looks like an old time cork screw - Back in the day, all bottles were corked!

Thanks all, however take a closer look at the size! Made of about 12 gauge wire. Could not pull a cork, would bend trying to put it in.

Despite reading it won't screw into a cork.
Listerine all I found in brief search.
I would use it to get cotton out of medicine bottles.:laughing7:
Soaking cork can soften it.
