Today my dad and I were digging a ditch for a new water line to be installed on a new home being built. And I saw this in the soil and grabbed it. It feels like glass. I have no idea what it is. Does anybody else?

I'd have grabbed it too. 
Was this on the surface, or did it come from soil deeper down? Very interesting shape, too..kinda like what a suppository for a Sasquatch might look like.
Hope it turns out to be a nice gemstone.

It was deeper down.. that’s a small turd for that big of a creature I’d think. 😂😂I'd have grabbed it too.
