will a magnet stick to it ? --if so its iron / steel ---if not its non farrous and thus most likely---brass or bronze or maybe copper---whats the back look like? and are there other markings of any kind on it ? Ivan

I would have to agree with mrs.oroblanco, I have seen a few, the "U" and "S" appear to be a little different. Could be that these were made by several different manufacturers and could explain the difference.
