Hi,
I found this odd shaped iron ball while taking a walk. It was on a road that had recently been washed out, dug up, & caliche gravel added over the past several weeks. We walk this road a lot, but never noticed it until just yesterday. It is about 1.5-2" diameter & weights 8.8oz according to my postal scale. Not perfectly round, kind of hexagonal. Sits on a flat bottom. Can't find any kind of casting marks or holes, just some pit marks in the surface.
Anyone know what it is?
