1920's-30's would be my guess. I see cabins in my area with similar construction method, none appear on land ownership maps until the late 20's, early 30's. Most don't appear on subsequent maps in the late 50's.

Out buildings might be for livestock ,smokehouse, storage for feed for animals . Smokehouse would be easy to tell same for livestock . The fun would be solving the puzzle one day at a time.

I'd just move in and hunt everyday. Nice looking spot to find some old stuff.Congrats

That's pretty cool to just come across something like that in the woods. Would definitely want to hit it up with the detector!

That’s a cool old place. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Grab those mason jars, especially if they're blue colored glass. Worth a few bucks each on eBay. The half gallon and half pint jars are harder to find, so they have extra value.

Oh I've got more bottles and mason jars than I know what to do with. Most from the early 1900,s but I've got a few from the 1800's. I just found two more sites off the wateree river. Dating back as far as the late 1700's.

Good Luck in your new adventure! :hello2: Please post more photos of the interesting property. :icon_thumleft:
