Found this on the grounds of an old farmhouse

I found this in the back yard of an old farmhouse today. It is 1.5 inches long and 1 inch wide. It seems to be either copper or bronze. Any idea what it could be?

Looks like what was left from a Army pin for a Sargent depending on which end you'd call the top .. Woodstock

I agree I see the same thing

If you see a relief I can't but since you can is it a frontal picture or a bust ? It's a shield or badge of some kind . This might be what it looked like before nature destroyed it's face .



Thats why you still can see some sort of design on it ... maybe it's a face and well..maybe not . IMHO , Woodstock

Very cool stuff! I see it as a bust with the face looking to the left. I didn't even notice it until I posted it here! I wonder what it was for...

I see the face as well.The bottom left pic looks almost like a Kepi hat.
