found this on the beach today.....Anthracite? space rock? what is it?

Its about the size of a dime....it has some weight to it...much heavier than you would think. very hard. does not stick to a magnet and makes no marks on white paper.

it kinda looks like anthracite..does anthracite read as metal? rings a nice clean tone 66 on the AT pro in all metal mode.

it was found on the beach in the cape canaveral area? possible rocket fuel? :dontknow:

Could be heavily oxidized silver.

Could it be a burnt chuck of coal? I can't tell by pic but in the old home sites I hunt I find them a lot and they sound off around nickel on my pro.
