Battery is charging, maiden voyage tomorrow!

Ooooooh, purty, that's it all the gold and silver is about to jump out of the saltwater!

Congrats on the new addition. GL & HH.

Nice machine...I have been swinging one for a long time...When I first got mine I wanted to use it for water hunting...but I can't go under water because of my ear..So I kept it and use it exclusively on land...it is a bit tough to get used to pinpointing because of bbs technology..but it is great on land but a bit heavy to swing all day...I have found tons of colonial coins and buckles with it...Hope you find tons of gold GL HH.

Congrats Brad!!
I wish you the best of luck with it.
You should learn it fast..

IF you begin winding coil wire "higher" you will be able to adjust your sens up.

Wires that are wound too low and close to coil produce feedback/falsing.

General rule for me anyway... is to begin slight 1 wind up shaft to shaft connection point...
then begin coiling... leave slight amount of slack for coil "pivot room".

Right on! Now you have to get you a straight shaft for it, to reduce drag while swinging it in the water. Good Luck!

Nice! Happy hunts to ya :coffee2:

I have arms like an orangutan. I can swing it in the snow, ha jk lol
right now I'm trying to figure out how to know if the battery is charging. Minelab and batteries always gives me a curve ball. When I had bought my CTX 3030 (which I sold later) I had a faulty battery right out of the box

Good luck !!

Good luck with it. I hope you do as good as I have with mine. 1st year using it I paid for it with the gold and silver that I found. I found and sold over $1800 so glad that I got it. Good luck......Matt
