I'm just curious if this thing is valuable, I've never seen a fire agate this big with multiple colors. Any help would be much appreciated. 20180607_081309-1-1.jpg20180607_081157-1.jpg20180607_083303.jpg20180607_081253-2.jpg20180607_081253-1.jpg20180607_081207-1-1.jpg20180607_081256-1-1.jpg Thnx

I think your specimen has potential. I see a lot of color buried there. Good luck.

Something this big would take a very long time to dremel all that ryholite and chalcedony away then polish it, so you're saying it would be worth it Kray?

Nice specimen and congrats! You might try placing it in a Gold Classifier, then down in a tote and pressure spraying to remove unwanted loose material. If some of the Agate and good Chalcedony comes off, it will land in the classifier and smaller stuff in the tote. I am not sure if there is an acid that can be used on such a specimen to remove unwanted material without removing good material or destroying the whole specimen, so be sure to ask some experts before trying any acids.

Thanks, everthing that's on there is on pretty good, I was thinking small tools like dental tools? Or have a whole lot of patience with the dremel.
I'm hoping most the rock is like the middle part, looks like it is, when I hold it under water in sunlight you can see the bubbly chalcedony with color under a lot of that ugly ryholite crusty stuff, but I won't know for sure till I remove it.

It sounds like you have found a new hobby. Have fun and keep us posted, that is a beautiful rock.
