Found this item today in a farmers field havent a clue what it is any ideas

Hi MDers i found this item today 4 inch down in a farmers field it has threads inside the narrow end and a small circular disk loose inside any help IDing will be appreciated as i havent a clue and its really puzzling me, also found an 184? 1/26th shilling coin but its in cr@ppy condition still it beats my personal best i suppose.

[Thanks for the IDs guys, if its a fire poker handle what is the small circular disk inside it that moves about when shaken? i mean i know there are threads on the smaller end as shown in the pic were a poker might turn into but the circular disk is puzzling me.

Its a solid disk with 3 lines round it.

I also think spray nozzle. The disk inside reduces the orifice and increases the velocity of the liquid spraying out - sort of like putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose. I suspect it came off a piece of farm equipment.
