Found this in the middle of the woods.

What kind of building do you think it was? It's part of a town that was built below the flood plane and abandoned around the start of the cival war. The woods are no mans land now and are under water most of the time. I found while hunting for squirrel.

Can you tell if the structure is made of cinder blocks or is it made of concrete blocks .. If it is concrete blocks, it is possible it dates from the 1800's .. if it is cinder block, in dates post 1913.

It's concrete blocks with rotten wood timber set into it. It seems to be magnetic since it has every particle of metal in the woods around it

No chance pulling anything out of it with a md. There is more trash than dirt here

Do you think that there is a possibility that this was a boat slip? Maybe the river level at that time was higher.
