It is the frequency "dial" most likely from a portable radio. What specific radio I don't know.

The National Weather Service starting broadcasting on the 162 MHz VHF band in early 1953.
A few more stations were added in 1967, and today there are more than a hundred stations in the United States.

It is likely your radio/TV dial dates from sometime after 1967, possibly the 1980's or '90s.
