The important info: Hallmarks read C.L & S , Birmingham, .925 British sterling,1904, patent. It's hand engraved with initials J and Y.
No info I can find on the makers, C.L &S any ideas?
Should I have it restored or leave it alone, digger marks and all on the inside?
All info is really appreciated. The internet didn't have as much info back then.
I found this 20+ years ago in an old coal mining company town originally named Coal Creek, it's now a park in what's called known as Newcastle, near Seattle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal_Creek_(Washington)
That trip I also picked up a Barber 1/2 dollar 1" down on hard clay, a few early wheaties, some buffaloes, a couple company store scrip coins and a bunch of medicine bottles near where the hospital was.
