found this copper thing a foot down, any ideas??

dug this up in a sandy kinda dirt on a riverbank. It was 12" down and all mangled up. i know its copper but cant make out what it is. Has a neat dimple pattern in it and 3 holes around the rim maybe to hang it or something. thanks for looking and HH

I think ya got yourself a planter. I found one similar earlier this summer. For me, it goes into the copper bucket as the largest piece of copper found to date. Good luck out there
