The Islamic date appears to be a 'backward' 1700; converted to our Gregorian date approximates 1786. The mark on the left coin is called a tighra, or tugra; the Ottoman seal.

Neat find! I detected @ GI only in the area where family were surf fishing. Found only modern clad, they were surface grading the sand at the time...dang it was hot out there.

Your coin is from the 20 year of the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Mejid which = 1858. The red arrow shows the location of the date on the coin.
